The event witnessed not only the celebration of the African-American community’s artistry and creativity, but also the honoring and affirmation of their faith. Many famous artists attributed their success to the Lord, as seen in this Impact Network show video clip:

It’s exciting to see these famous artists express their faith and recognize all that the Lord has done for them.

Indeed, it’s a testament to the fact that every success we attain, every goal we achieve, and everything we have in this life is because of God. These artists, no matter how successful they are or no matter how wealthy they have become, they always give due credit to the Lord.

The Soul Train Awards 2017 teaches us that FAME cannot erase one’s FAITH. While fame reaps awards here on earth, faith reaps rewards in heaven.

What have you done recently as a testament to your faith?

Prayer Works! The Power of Prayer Requests

Do you believe that prayer works?

Sometimes when we go through difficult patches in life, we find it hard to pray.

Maybe you are encountering difficulties in your relationships — disagreements, mistrust, or broken connections with your loved ones…

Maybe you are facing obstacles in your career, losing out on a promotion you deserved or having a hard time finding a good job, living paycheck to paycheck…

Maybe you are having problems maintaining your finances and supporting yourself and your family…

Or perhaps you or someone close to you is facing health problems that seem too difficult to overcome…

Sometimes, the challenges that we face in life are so hard, that we lose hope and we forget that God is just one prayer away. We get so consumed by the emotions of sadness, fear and brokenness that we become paralyzed and stop praying.

But prayer is exactly what we need to stitch up the rough patches and experience the abundance God promised for our lives.

You see, prayer is a sign of faith and trust in the Lord. It is an expression of humility, that no matter how much we have progressed in our mortal existence, there are some things that only God can do.

What is impossible for humans, is possible with God!

Whenever we engage ourselves in prayer, we open ourselves up to the supernatural. It is a powerful space where we can communicate directly with our Father in heaven.

Our founder Bishop Wayne T. Jackson said it best: “When we pray, we rise up in power.”

No prayer request is too small or insignificant for our God. God wants us to live our life in the best possible way. He only asks that we surrender our hearts to His grace. If we put our focus on God, we will find that our lives will be filled with His divine providence.

God listens to each of our prayers, even though we may not see the answers right away, or even the answers that we expect. He knows what is best for us, and is constantly working to prepare us for our miracles and breakthroughs.

Our prayer becomes even more powerful when other people are also praying for it! The Impact Community is here to pray with you and for you! We have seen many miracles happen to different people who have submitted their prayer requests and are now testaments of God’s great glory!

It is the Impact Network’s mission to help you in your life’s journey, give spiritual support, and share faith experiences together. Submit your prayer request today!

Laughter is medicine to the soul.

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

– Proverbs 17:22

Hey, when was the last time you had a good, hearty laugh?

When we laugh, a surge of positive energy goes through our body. It is an expression of joy and happiness, that should always be shared with others.

Communities need laughter now more than ever. With what’s happening in the world today, we all need the healing power of laughter!

If you are a native of Detroit, you know that the city has gone through a lot of tough challenges through the years. Last year, the Impact Network brought the people of Detroit a special treat through the Laugh With Me 2017 event.

The Laugh With Me 2017 was a total success in bringing people together from different walks of life for a night of fun and laughter. The show featured 100% clean comedy from the hottest urban comedians — Tony Roberts, Jonathan Slocumb, Joe Recca, Grif and Small Fire.

The comedy special was hosted by Impact Network’s Brandon T. Jackson and produced by Royal W. Jackson. As the largest and fastest growing African-American owned inspirational TV network, Impact Network is confident that the show was just a small taste of what to expect in the coming seasons.

Through shows like this, Impact Network is bridging the gap between faith and lifestyle by providing family-friendly content and entertainment.

The event was also a way to build up the community, by finding common ground and sharing joy and amusement together. Laughter is a universal language. If people can be able to laugh hysterically and have the same humorous experience, then they can better relate with each other and see each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.

If you missed seeing the show live, you can still catch the all hilarity in the Laugh With Me 2017 DVD.

Expanding the Impact

Did you know that the Impact Network was previously distributing to only 250,000 homes locally in Detroit, but is now broadcasting in over 85 million homes across the globe?

Yes! The Impact Network is continuing to grow!

And we want you to grow with us!

The Impact Network started in 2011 through two individuals who saw the need to make a positive impact on the urban community. These two individuals were Bishop Wayne T. and Dr. Beverly Y. Jackson, who supported each other and knew that the value of inspiration and encouragement should be extended to others outside their home.

With the rise of digital, the Cable and TV industries have been declining, yet the Impact Network still found a new way to emerge. Today, we are happy to announce that we have another AT&T channel added to our roster of distribution:

Whether on digital, cable or satellite, anyone can watch the Impact Network’s shows and be inspired whenever they need it. The featured shows and ministries each provide their own insights and wisdom, which cater to various issues and the different life stages of an individual.

Since its inception in 2011, the Impact Network continues to expand its providers and the opportunity for other channels to be part of a greater cause. The focus of spreading Impact Network’s urban inspirational voice is to reach more people in need of motivation and inspiration.
