About April Love

During April Love’s battle with breast cancer, she started hosting small, pink-themed events while she was still in treatment to lift her spirits and educate her community about early detection and effective cancer prevention practices. She also wanted to encourage cancer warriors to keep their faith while fighting the greatest battle of their lives. Organically, the event began to blossom and eventually became what is now known as The Pink Awards.
